Sometimes an event or period of time can markedly influence the value of your plate. During the Queen’s Jubilee, JUB113E would have a lot more value. Wouldn’t it would perfectly suit one of Maam’s Bentleys. During the Olympics or other sporting events perhaps M4DAL or RUN800M would command a much higher value.
Think to the future as well. If England win the World Cup in 2018, how much would CUP 18 be worth? How much would John Terry pay for it? More than he earns in a week? Probably not. He earns a lot of money a week. £150,000 apparently. He’d have enough in less than 2 weeks to buy GS1 – Goal Scorer 1 perhaps?
